So what does all the information above tell me? It tells me that we have a winner on the $30 for $30 board. To get the winner I went to the website random.org. The lucky person this round was Ruth Bliss in spot #20. She now gets a $30 credit towards her next order. Congratulations!!
If you would like the chance to win on the next board, all you have to do is place an order with me (online or through me). For every $30 you spend (before tax & shipping) you get to choose 1 spot on the board. When all thirty spots are filled, I will randomly draw the next winner. It could be you!! We are well on our way again with 4 spots already filled on the new board. Good luck!!
I have added a link in the left column under promotions to make access to the clearance rack easy for you. Make sure you check back often for new clearance merchandise at amazing prices.
Here is the opportunity to play along for your chance to win Stampin' Up! prizes. The rules are simple. All you have to do is visit at least 20 blogs (that are participating in the hunt) and collect the clues from their posts. Once you have visited the blogs & collected the clues, just email me with your list of clues.
firstname.lastname@example.org (you must have 20)
You will then be entered into the drawing to take place on Sept. 15th, so make sure I have your entry before then.
Lets get started! Here is your first clue: Word Play
Word Play is on p. 147 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog and is the stamp set I used to make the card sample above. This set consists of a GREAT collection of all occasion sentiments. When I saw it in the new catalog I could not wait to get my hands on it.
Here is the list of the other sites playing along. I will update the list as more people join, so make sure to check back often.
For all the hunt rules or how to add your own blog to the hunt go here: http://yourhiredscrapbooksupplies.blogspot.com/2010/09/late-night-stamper-scavenger-hunt-round.html
As always, the price is $1.75 per card (includes envelope). You may pick the quantities and the cards you wish to make. However, there is a three card minimum.
Please make sure to RSVP by Saturday 9/11. Please make sure to include which time you plan to attend and the cards & quantities you wish to create.
Hoping to see you all here!!

It's finally time!! Today is the first day that you can order from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. There are tons of fabulous new products and great ideas to get you through the holiday season.
To view the catalog click on the photo to the right. If you prefer a copy that you can get your hands on let me know. Don't forget to attend some of my upcoming events for the opportunity to see & use products from the mini. Click on the events tab at the top to see what's coming up and check back often for new event postings.
Here is another make & take I made at the demo day I attended this last weekend. This one was created by none other than Margo Kelly. I love the colors, but I especially love the fabric. Yes, I said fabric. The flower is created entirely out of fabric being offered by Stampin' Up! in the Holiday Mini. It is finished off with an extra large button, also available in the Holiday Mini.
Okay so I admit that I was a little skeptical, fabric really? However, between the demo Shelli & her daughter gave at convention & this one last Saturday, I'm sold. It coordinates so well into the color lines & other products being offered in the mini. It is also a great quality material (what else would we expect). And from the demo's that I have seen, works into just about any type of project you can imagine, even if you don't sew! I have some here for you to preview if you too need to be convinced, just let me know.
This beautiful card was designed by Becky Roberts (Inking Idaho) as a make & take project for the demo day I just attended last weekend. Her blog is one of my favorites and I was especially happy to get the chance to make one of her creations.
The stamp "even the naughty deserve something nice" is from a set in the upcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini. Also from the mini, the rick rack in Cherry Cobbler. It is just a piece of a new Sizzix die being offered in the mini. Ordering for this mini starts September 1st, not too much longer to wait. Let me know if you need a copy.
This beautiful card was made by my friend and fellow demonstrator Linda Payne. I don't know what it is about this set that I love, maybe it's the fact that I love just about anything having to do with coffee or tea. Besides, who couldn't benefit from a little "perk up" every now and then.
Most of the items on this card (both types of ribbon, one of the colors, the antique brad, the embossing folder, and the stamp set) are new items. You can find them in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog that was just released on July 1st. Contact me if you don't have your copy yet or click the "shop now" button above to browse online.
It all needs to go!! Take advantage of these incredible prices!

I just got home from the Stampin' Up! convention at about 1 AM yesterday morning, so I spent yesterday pretty much doing nothing. It was a very full & enlightening trip! I cannot wait to get my hands dirty trying & sharing what I learned. However, up until my trip I was trying to get my swaps done, hold my club event, get everything packed & ready, and get the house prepared for my absence. My family did say that they really missed me! :)
Before I left we also experienced the loss of our great dane Tye. There were a lot of tears around here for a while, which seriously affected my stamping mojo. It was very unexpected & hard on all of us. We still really miss his presence.
On the flip side though, I announced to my children & the rest of my little world that Matt & I are expecting our 3rd child. Such a totally opposite emotion to feel on the same day as our loss. Needless to say I have been incredibly tired, but I think that too is passing (for now).
Now that I am back I plan on sharing with you things I learned at convention & the swaps I received. I look forward to being in touch a bit more & thank you for your patience and understanding the last little while.
If you need one of these catalogs in your hands, let me know. I have to charge what they cost me, but if you place an order of $30 or more I will discount that order the cost of the catalog.
Here is a card I did for a small swap a few weeks ago. I haven't posted it before now because it has been a very difficult card to photo. All of those little speckles are shimmer mist, which in person look very pretty, but cause the camera issues.
Now on to the details. I used the colors Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso (both of those are new colors in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog), and Very Vanilla. The stamps are both from the new catalog. One is a hostess stamp set & the other is tag set that coordinates with the punches. Makes you want to see that new catty doesn't it?! Well they are here, so let me know if you would like one.
First, I am drawing from the list of blog followers on July 1st for a FREE stamp set. All you have to do is "Follow" my blog to be eligible to win. (See post from 6/6/10 for all the details)
Second, the last chance to order any retiring merchandise is June 30th. This includes all stamps, accessories, and decor elements. Make sure you get your order placed before it is too late. You can order on line by clicking here. (You can also order off of the clearance rack online too.)
Third, the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog goes live on July 1st. Which brings me to my exciting news...my catalogs should arrive today!! All members of Stampers Club will receive one free. Anyone else, let me know and I can get one to you (possibly FREE).
I will update my blog on July 1st as soon as I can, so that you can see any new promotion & the new catty.
I wanted to also remind you that your last chance to order the retiring items from the current catalog is June 30th. Let me know if you are going to need anything and I will see if I can't get a last minute order together.
