There are three very important things taking place that you need to remember:
First, I am drawing from the list of blog followers on July 1st for a FREE stamp set. All you have to do is "Follow" my blog to be eligible to win. (See post from 6/6/10 for all the details)
Second, the last chance to order any retiring merchandise is June 30th. This includes all stamps, accessories, and decor elements. Make sure you get your order placed before it is too late. You can order on line by clicking here. (You can also order off of the clearance rack online too.)
Third, the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog goes live on July 1st. Which brings me to my exciting news...my catalogs should arrive today!! All members of Stampers Club will receive one free. Anyone else, let me know and I can get one to you (possibly FREE).
I will update my blog on July 1st as soon as I can, so that you can see any new promotion & the new catty.
This is from the Sweet Scoops set that is currently in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini catalog. I found that this set contained some really good multi-purpose stamps. The "sprinkle" stamp is what I used for the background on the pink instead of on the ice cream. Then the "ice cream texture" stamp is what I used for the side accent on the white. This one kind of looks like a zebra, so can you imagine another card here?
I wanted to also remind you that your last chance to order the retiring items from the current catalog is June 30th. Let me know if you are going to need anything and I will see if I can't get a last minute order together.
This is one of the projects we made at this months Stamper's Club, simple yet elegant.I was inspired yet again by a card from IlinaCrouse (www.ilinacrouse.blogspot.com) and thought that it would make a perfect club card. I hope you enjoy it too!
This card share is also using products from the new Stampin' Up! catalog coming out on July 1. I used an aqua painter to color the beautiful flower with Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, & Certainly Celery. I also used Marina Mist for the back ground paper & Certainly Celery satin ribbon. The stamp set, Because I Care, is from the new catalog and will be available after July 1. Don't forget to stay tuned for more samples giving you more sneak peeks from the new catalog.
I love this card, but then again it was created by Linda Payne a fellow demonstrator. I don't think she's ever made a card I didn't like. Anyway, the stamp set she used is a preview set from the new Stampin' Up! catalog coming out on July 1. Stay tuned to my blog for the rest of June for more samples to get you excited about the upcoming catalog. Then after July 1, let me know if you would like a copy. Thanks for looking.
Here is a card that I made at the club I attend...yes, even as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I love to go to other clubs. It is a very simple card, yet very pretty. You can find this stamp set in the current Summer Mini catalog. If you don't have a copy and would like one, let me know I have a lot to spare.
I needed to create a card for my stamp club, so I told my daughter to choose a layout from the new catalog. This is the card that she chose. I had to use a different stamp set, but otherwise it is totally CASED from the Stampin' Up! catalog coming out July 1st.
All club members will be receiving a FREE catalog as part of their club benefits. You can receive a FREE catalog too by hosting a workshop or joining club. If you would like a new catalog, let me know and I can hook you up after July 1.
Today for club I designed this color tracker, that way club members could track their supplies in the new color collections. I also added small paper samples of each color so that they could see exactly what the new colors look like. I am quite proud of this project! I formatted & designed the entire thing...Stampin' Up! doesn't have an updated tracker on their site yet. If you think that you will need one too, let me know and I can hook you up.
Ok you all, I want to thank you for the outstanding response that I have received regarding my color collection chart. I truly appreciate that you all know what kind of work that I put into this. I am more than happy to share this with anyone who is interested. So, today I tried to learn how to attach it to this post for all of you who have not already received it. Here goes nothing (it may take a moment to load so be patient)...
My new "Sneak Peek" items and my new Stampin' Up! catalog showed up late Tuesday. I was waiting all day...I even sat in my lawn chair out front waiting for the brown truck. He finally showed up a little after 6PM, right before I had a party starting that night. I took a quick look at the new catalog and then had to set it aside until the next day. :( I can tell you that I LOVE the new catty!
With that being said, I have since had a chance to look at it in great detail. I cannot wait until I get ALL of them and can share with you. Until then you will just have to be satisfied with card shares. Today I will be sharing a card made with a 2 Step stamp set called "Awash with Flowers". I also used Presto Paper DSP from the Summer Mini. This paper is already embossed, so you can color or dye the paper any color you would like to match your project. In my case it was Rich Razzleberry.
Colors: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, & More Mustard Stamps: Awash with Flowers Other: Presto Paper DSP & Old Olive Grosgrain
Here is what I would like to do; I would like to increase the following on my blog. If you would be willing to sign up to follow my blog (click on the "follow" link in the right column), I will enter you into a drawing for a stamp set that will be retiring on July 1st. I have a nice stack that will be retiring for you to chose from. The winner will be chosen from all of the blog followers listed on July 1st. Good Luck!!
I will also be posting daily samples of projects I make with "sneak peek" items from the new catalog coming out on July 1st. Hopefully this will give you some creative inspiration and give me a reason to be creative. If you would like to be notified when I post, click on the subscribe link in the right column. My supplies will be here on Tuesday, so be watching for the inspiration!! Can't wait!
This is my personal blog where I post what I like and make. I will try to give credit to others when a project is inspired by or made by someone else. Any similarities to other projects is coincidental.
