And the Mystery Hostess Was...

Last Friday was the Holiday Mini Mystery Hostess event and it went off without a hitch. Guests enjoyed snacks, prizes (lots and lots), 2 make & take projects and tons of samples. Hopefully everyone left inspired to create. Some of the samples are shown below. And one lucky person left with $35 in FREE product & either a Level I or II hostess set. And that lucky person was, Lisa Schimmels. Congrats!!

I will be holding another one of these events when the next mini catalog is released. Watch for details.

Make & Take

Lucky Winner!!

I just wanted to let you all know that I really appreciate ALL RSVPs to my events. Even those who have to unfortunately say no. Guests who attend my events often get the chance to win FREE prizes, but I wanted to do something for those who could not attend for one reason or another. That being said, I took the list of "no" RSVPs from Holiday Mini Mystery Hostess event and drew a lucky winner. Tiffany Jessen was the lucky one and has earned herself a FREE stamp set just for letting me know that she was not able to attend.
You never know when I may do this again, so better your odds & RSVP for my events. Good Luck!!

Last Technique Card Class/Club

Here are the samples of what we made at the last Technique night.

Stamping with the Kids & Neighbors

Today I took a moment out of the day to make some cards with my daughter and a couple of neighbor boys. They were all so excited & all had ideas of their own. I thought that I would share with you the cards that they made.

I just thought that I would take a minute to share one of the highlights from Convention. Every year Stampin' Up! holds a comercial contest and then they showcase some of the very best during convention. Let me tell you, there were some funny commercials. Check out this one, which was the winning entry.

DSP Wreath

I LOVE this wreath!! When I saw this demo'd at convention by Lisa Cudney I just knew that I had to make one. And you'll never guess what, I was asked to demo it at our meeting not 5 minutes after seeing Lisa make it. So... the wreath that you are looking at is actually #2, because I gave away the 1st one at our demo meeting. Which I think should tell you something....they aren't that bad to make or I would never have made another one.
I will be offering this as part of a class closer to Christmas, so never fear, you'll get your chance to make your very own!!

Blog Face Lift

Don't you just LOVE my new look?!?! Oh I sure do!!! A big thank you to Veronica McCollum at vk design co. (http://www.vkdesigncompany.com/) for this great new look. Check out her web site for more information or additional samples. She ROCKS!!

Holiday Mini Catalog Mystery Hostess Party Postponed

Today I made the decision to postpone this event that was suppose to be held tonight. Why? Well I just couldn't compete with the BSU game, not to mention that not everyone has received their Holiday Mini's from SU! So hopefully you'll be able to join me (or order) on the new date. See below for all the new info on this event and thank you for your understanding!!

When: Fri Sep 18 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Where: My House (5121 Weston Ave Caldwell, Id 83607)
RSVP: Please let me know you are coming, I want to make sure I have enough prizes, M&T's and treats for everyone!!

Please join me for this mystery hostess event! Let's kick off the Holiday Mini Catalog in style! There will be make & take projects, new product samples, games with prizes (you may want to freshen up your knowledge on SU! products), treats and much more.
I will also be offering catalog pricing for items in the Holiday Mini Catalog, this night only!! Then, at the end of the evening I will draw a name from all of the orders collected ($15 minimum order required to be eligible) & that person will receive hostess benefits. (The last mystery hostess made it to Level II & $40) You won't want to miss this event.
If you are unable to attend this event, but would still like to take advantage of catalog pricing & the mystery hostess option you can!! Just make sure you have your order to me, including payment, by 5 PM Sept 18th. You will then be included in the mystery hostess drawing and I will notify you if you are the lucky winner!!

Online Orders

If you are going to order from me online make sure you take the following into consideration:

When customers order through http://www.stampinup.com/ they will pay a higher rate than listed in the catalog IF they don't request a demonstrator. If they do request a demo, they still do NOT get the hostess benefits OR any specials. THEY MUST order through your web site to get the specials and hostess benefits.

So remember, if ordering from me online, make sure you order from http://stampingqueen.stampinup.net/ and select "shop now".
